This set is everything I could ask for. Great single coil tone from a seemingly double-humbucker guitar. Perfect for clean/surf songs. Captures that '60s Beach Boys sound I love. Can't recommend enough!

The custom shop wound me an SSL1 under a humbucker cover for the neck position of a PRS singlecut. Bang on strat neck tone now, which is exactly what I was after! Highs are chiming, low end is tight and clear and the mids are hollow. Recommend if you want that strat tone in a humbucker guitar (obviously), but also for folks who are after a bright and tight neck tone or have had problems with muddiness in that position. A single coil there clears it up in a hurry!
