Adopted as a must have for Nashville players, the 5-2 Stack for Tele retains the same sound as the production 5-2’s, but with a bottom coil for noiseless tone when onstage or recording. The treble strings smooth out with alnico 2’s and the wound strings kick with Alnico 5’s.
The neck pickup comes standard with a chrome cover, and the bridge pickup is uncovered.

My Tele just changed for the absolute best! I started with SD Tele Stack pickups in both position and I was happy. But; when switched up to my Neck position it always felt a little short in Tone (not enough brightness) & Out Put (db level drop compared to the Bridge position.)So...SD Custom Shop 5-2's noiseless Neck position was ordered. It was just was everything and more of what I wanted and didn't know how to ask for. Well....I had to order the Bridge as well for that perfect set. Best thing I ever did to this Tele. Extremely Happy!
