Just like the size and look of a Wide Range humbucker, the tone is equally individual.
Constructed as close to vintage as possible, the Seymour Duncan Wide Range style humbucker utilizes threaded Alnico 5 rod magnets and a period correct wind pattern to create the bark and bite of the original.
DC Resistance: 10.6k
Application: Wide range "Thinline" Tele size

I selected the single conductor option, but recieved the 4 conductor option anyway. I wasn't at all interested in the future use of the 4 conductors, but what annoys me most about it is the tiny gauge wires that were really difficult to solder neatly. When spending this much money on "custom shop" pickups, I was under the impression that I'd get a heavier gauge, cloth-covered wire. Also was sent really long screws (1.25") for mounting the pickups. This pickup is specifically for Tele-deluxe, which is way too shallow for these long screws, so I had to dig out the old pickups and take those mounting screws. The pickups sound pretty good so far, I just wish I would have received nicer wiring and proper mounting hardware.
